Our House

Elizabeth's Favorite Gardening Books

We live in the Willamette Valley of western Oregon. Pacific Northwest winters are fairly mild and wet, summers tend to be somewhat dry, especially after mid-July. Rhododendron, azalea and ornamental grasses are common landscape plants as well a variety of ground covers. Our major landscape pest problems are slugs, root weevils as well as the usual suspects like aphids and spider mites.

Mission: To provide accurate, up-to-date and unbiased information for solving common insect and mite problems around your home, business and landscape using least-toxic methods.
